Day 2 – Petrified National Forest
@3:00pm. Heavy winds even here. But we are going to brave it out and look around.
Day 2 – Entering Arizona
@3:00pm -> 2:00pm. 5th state on the way. It was freakishly windy for the last 20 miles and probably throughout Arizona, looked like a dust storm. Made a pitstop at Gallop, NM, the last stop in NM before Arizona. We’ve been on the road for more than 1000 miles now.
Day 2 – Pitstop #1
@11:30am. Stopping for lunch at Albuquerque. Driving thru downtown on old Route 66. That’s the railway station and most of the buildings here are built in that style.
Day 2 – Into the montains
@10:30am. Encino, Estancia, Tajique. Driving into ranch land before heading back to the highway.
